Barry Matsumori


Barry is the CEO at BridgeComm, bringing his extensive background in the mobile wireless and Space 2.0 sectors. His experience has a number of leadership roles including as Sr VP of business development and advanced concepts at Virgin Orbit, Sr VP of sales and business development at SpaceX, and nearly two decades at Qualcomm, where he had a number of roles including as VP of Wireless Connectivity. He also has worked with several early stage technology companies in development and management roles. Barry holds a Bachelor of Science in business from Arizona State University and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Arizona.

Joseph Campagna

Chief Operating Officer

Joe has over 25 years of experience in Commercial and DoD satellite operations and ground system engineering and construction, and most recently led Global Ground Systems as CEO and Chief Engineer, focusing on ground system design, systems analysis and business development for a multitude of commercial and DoD customers. Before that, Joe was the Director of Ground Systems Engineering at Orbital Sciences (now Orbital ATK), overseeing ground system program management, design, installation and long term support for GEO & LEO missions. Prior to Orbital, Joe was a key member of the ground system installation & test and subsequent launch of the Iridium Satellite Constellation. Joe holds Bachelor’s Degree from University of Maryland in Aerospace Engineering Management and a Leadership Certificate from University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

Rizwan Parvez

Chief Technology Officer

Rizwan brings more than a decade of technical management experience and expertise in satellite integration & test, systems engineering, and product strategy. At both SSL (Space Systems Loral) and Orbital Sciences (now Orbital ATK), he led engineering teams across all disciplines supporting the design, integration, testing, launch and operations of GEO communication satellites. Most recently at SSL, he was analyzing commercial low-Earth & emerging market projects supporting company expansion and growth strategies. Rizwan holds a degree from Duke University in Electrical Engineering.

Rick Sanford

Vice President of Strategy and Business Development

Rick is an executive leader with over 30 years of experience in communications systems analysis, design, integration, and maintenance. He is a recognized pioneer in the Space, Cyber and Networking communities and has international team leadership experience in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and select Middle Eastern countries. Rick started his career in the United States Air Force, studied Computer Information Systems at Strayer College and served over 12 years with Cisco Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for building the U.S. National Security business and founding the company’s Space business as part of the Global Government Solutions Group. Rick founded space systems consulting firm SpaceGroundAmalgam, LLC in 2009 and was a Partner with mid-market strategic investment firm Hudson Fairfax Group for three years. Rick spent 10 years on the International Space University Board of Trustees, currently serves on the Board of Space Micro, Inc. in San Diego, CA. and is the President of the Board of Habitat for Humanity of Teller County Colorado.


Lt. Gen. David Deptula, Ret.


Lt. Gen. David Deptula, Ret. served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance at the Headquarters U.S. Air Force for over 34 years. He earned his wings in 1977, and was the principal attack planner for the Desert Storm coalition air campaign in 1991. In 2006, he was the standing Joint Force Air Component Commander for Pacific Command.

Douglas Loverro


Douglas Loverro served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy, retiring in 2017. Before this, Loverro served as Executive Director for Air Force Space Command’s Space and Missile Systems Center. His aerospace development accomplishments include inventing the supersonic chemical oxygen-iodine laser and initiating the Department of Defense’s Global Broadcast service.

Dr. Sandra Magnus


Dr. Sandra Magnus took flight with the crew of STS-119 Discover, returning to Earth in March of 2009 after 134 days in orbit. Magnus was also an engineer designing stealth aircraft for the Navy.

William Parker


William Parker served for 31 years with the Department of State, ranking as Minister-Counselor, equivalent of Major General. He specialized in foreign services, accumulating a plethora of critical national security initiatives worldwide.
